The house was well furnished and very clean. The proprietor was attentive and helpful when needed, and his expectations were clear. The kitchen was stocked for basic cooking. A pleasant and relaxing visit."

"The condo was beautiful and the views from the windows and long deck were stunning. BUT, not easy for seniors or those with disabilities. Pictures show entering the building right from your parking place, which is true, but they fail to mention the steep curving steps down to the apartment. Yes, the stairs are seen in a dining room picture of the condo, but without an explanation, we assumed they went up to the bedrooms. There was no instruction/info manual like every other vrbo we have stayed...

"This property was a lucky last minute find. Only 15 minutes from UMD, where my son attends. Can safely have windows open overnight and let the Lake Superior waves lull you to sleep. It is a basement apartment and home owners were not present, so I can’t speak on that. Very nice patio with grill as well as wood burning chiminea, both of which we used and enjoyed immensely. Thank you for sharing your property."

"Overall this quiet comfortable Hillside Retreat provided just about all I would ask for in a short term rental. I liked the convenient parking steps away from our door, having one and a half bathrooms. My favorite part about this spot was the private sauna. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here next time we are in Duluth."

"I loved the easy entry to the property. Using a number I know instead of something I would need to remember makes it a breeze. The amenities were great. Very clean. The rug in front of the main door kept getting caught under the door because of the fluffy carpet which was inconvenient so I moved it. I would stay here again and recommend it to others!"

"This is a really nice, smaller lake not far from Duluth and the north shore. Great amenities, like fire pits, saunas, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. The hosts were probably 2 of the best hosts we have ever had anywhere in the world. Very high praise!"
