"We came to River Walk to do the Loon Mountain Race. We stayed here so the kids could use the pool. Unfortunately it was closed but the small inner pool was open. The kids played in the river a few times which is crystal clear and refreshing so that kept their minds off the pool. The convenient location of the Moon Cafe helps out in the mornings. La Vista restaurant in the hotel has an amazing gluten free wood fired pizza and the staff was helpful in dealing with the cross contamination issue...

"I had an adjoining room that I was not aware of. I would have preferred to know this in advance. We were able to hear other guests in that adjoining room which made things noisy. Also had a room with a squeaky loud mattress. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."

"Wife and I had a weekend stay at one of the suites with the jacuzzi. Room was clean, and the amenities were good, though there were some minor signs of wear and tear like failing tile grout. Nothing that impacted the enjoyment of our stay. Staff was friendly but not overbearing. Would have liked to stay longer and better experience the area."

"Disappointed that the outside pool was closed due to renovations and also the indoor pool was closed. Absolutely no extras, we stayed 2 nights, coffee for only 1 pot was provided. No dish washing detergent ( it did provide dishwasher tabs). No napkins, no extra paper towels or trash bags, no wraps or baggies, etc. No cushions for chairs on porch."

"We were upgraded to the Breton Arms property, which is much nicer than the Lodge. Still way behind the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Dining is very difficult. Reservations need to be made waaay in advance. And there isn’t anywhere else to eat. We had to buy a pizza 30 miles away and take it back to our room, so we could eat at a normal time. "

"This place blows you away even just as you drive up to it. It's perfect for large families/groups with all the sleeping arrangements that are possible. Having three showers was amazing as well for all of us (6 adults and 4 kids). The porch on the outside was lovely at night.
