"A very nice place to stay in Peebles, right in the middle of the town. Very convenient to explore the town. Excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Free parking, which is nice. But note: there is a steep hill to climb with luggage from the car park to the hotel lobby."

"It was an amazing find, travelling South on a long journey from Stornoway to Keswick. I began to feel tired in the afternoon, so I stopped the car went onto Expedia and found this place. The price was very reasonable for August, and the hotel was lovely, a little off the beaten track, but there was a local shop 2 mins away. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I’m going to bookmark this one."

"All good and what you pay for but you can’t beat the views and it is so convenient. All clean. All the basics what you need and so thankful they accept dogs. It’s our favourite stop off for visiting north Scotland"

"The manager/owner has been here 40 years. Everyone in the bar and restaurant seemed to know him and each other. It created a lovely, friendly atmosphere and the staff were on top of their game."
