"The wife and I wanted quick weekend getaway to spend some time reading and relaxing. The cactus pad is a cute little 2 person place with a location perfect for visiting old town or launching place to near by towns. You're in very easy walking distance to restaurants, merkin vinyard, tasting rooms, and shops while at the same time the setup gives you a sense of privacy too. . The outside sitting area is nice with a small firepit and comfortable seating. Think the only thing that surprised us at all is that the place did not have a TV which might matter to some. But that actually suited us just fine as we spent the weekend reading books, listening to music, and drinking wine. Ruth was very responsive to questions and the check-in/out process was very easy, Overall it was just what we were looking for and would happily stay here again next time we are needing a weekend away from the valley."

This was appreciated. When we asked for information about an activity we had planned the next day, we were assisted by Marie who was very helpful and informative.She gave us a lot of insight into the local area and recommendations which we found very useful. The room was spacious and had easy parking. Enjoyed the breakfast. We would definitely recommend and stay again if we returned."
