"Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake! Awesome view from the cabin! Only a few cabins on Smith Lake and the rest is National Forest land. Therefore, it is very peaceful and quiet."

"We have stayed at “The Kind Cabin” 5 times and cannot recommend it highly enough! The beautiful setting on the lake, the absolute quiet yet close proximity to all you need (grocery store, hardware store, golf course, even a hospital) makes this the perfect vacation get away. Every time we go, there are so many updates like new appliances, expanded reading and games library, new flooring, pellet grill, and even a dock to swim out to! Sandra is a terrific host and is a wonderful communicator. A true gem in the North Woods!!"
