The Sands Resort

"The resort was very clean and staff very friendly, but when you are paying over $500 / night , I think the property needs modernising, new untenciles, air conditioning in all rooms, block out blinds, extra bin bags, a bin in the bathrooms, a fridge without rust spots on it. If you are travelling with a baby who has a pram be prepared to carry up all the steps as no ramps or lifts to your room. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the accommodation definitely needs a renovation for their furnishings."

"Well equipped apartment in a superb location with amazing views, a few minutes from cafes & restaurants and a short stroll to the main shopping streets. Undercover parking kept us dry, outdoor clotheslines were very convenient. Would have liked a sensor light that came on when we drove into the garage at night, small thing."
