Seems hotel forgets they are selling a sleeping experience and sound proof rooms is the most critical part of this experience. Event on the Friday night and could hear the music from the function room. "

"Hotel felt very modern and spacious. One of the best standard rooms we’ve visited. Close enough to the main areas but not too close that you were surrounded by bars. Location could feel a little out of the way if you were travelling on your own and there was a bit of building work going on next door but that didn’t disrupt our stay. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but there were lots of options just 5 min walk away."
