"Served its purpose for a one night stop over, basic and a bit tired, stains on sofa and carpet, only one double sofa which sank when you sat on it so the third person had to sit on a hard dining chair. Basic utensils, no wine glasses but did have a gravy boat 😁 comfortable beds, met by the pleasant host, all in all fine "

"We absolutely loved our break away and will definitely be visiting again The hosts had thought of everything. A lovely welcome package including a bottle of wine and chocolate as well as milk and bread. Very thoughtful. The host greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly. Our 15month old had just learnt to walk and loved the spacious lodge to run around in. He also loved being able to see the cows from the room he slept in! Thank you so much "

"Was a fab chilled week away. Watching shooting stars from the hot tub was awesome. Great location for national trust visiting and other historic places or if you wanted shopping there were towns for that. The lodge had everything you need. Downsides minor.. tv not having any signal but we knew our Netflix account so could watch that. People walking their dogs at night round the back of lodge with their torches when you’re in hot tub… frightens the life out of you!! 🤣"

"Beds are a little springy but not uncomfortable! The benches around the dining table could possibly do with a refurb as the springs seem to have lost bounce and you sink into the chair. Again, not uncomfortable but a bit shocking when you first sit on it!"

"The lodge is beautiful!! From the grounds the lodge is on to the Quooker tap in the kitchen we couldn't fault anything. The hot tub was amazing to come and sit in after a day of exploring. The kitchen had every thing you needed even a kettle incase you didn't get on well with the Quooker tap. The rooms were spacious and had plenty of space, the living room/kitchen/dining room had plenty of space so everyone could be together and my niece could run around."
