"Better than expected and great value. Hotel staff were wonderful, pleasant and helpful. Not stuffy at all. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Great dining service. Purchase breakfast along with your stay....it's delicious and plentiful. Great spa, saunas, pool and infinity pool, but book massage, etc., well in advance. Do try the kayaking with Noel, and do take the nature and sky walks with Vincent. "

"We enjoyed the apartments attached to the property. The room is spacious, kitchen well appointed, and clean. Parking was easy and rooms were quiet. We slept well every night. The only negative would be the lighting in the bathroom to shave or put make up on. The resort itself is in a great location just a couple minutes outside of town. The resort staff is wonderful. The spa team was great as well. Yew Tree restaurant breakfast was good but not as exceptional as our lunch in Monk's bar. We all enjoyed our lunch and returned for drinks multiple times to Monk's. "
