"Getting to this accommodation for the first time is confusing, so I’d suggest doing some pre work as cars cannot physically drop you off in front of this hotel. Architecturally the building is stunning, however, the amenities in the room is very outdated. Our minibar fridge was not working, bottled water was not provided and the breakfast area was not very clear. "Très satisfait de mon séjour à l'hotel Dar Farhat. Le personnel est excellent - j'aimerais surtout remercier les réceptionnistes Chaima et Imed pour leur travail très conscientieux et leur gentillesse - mais tous les employés sont très gentils et serviables. Chambre très bien, tranquille, et l'hôtel est très bien situé pour explorer la ville tout à fait fascinante de Tunis."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Dar El Jeld. The hotel is beautifully renovated, with wonderful facilities, and we truly appreciated our spacious room and the amenities. That said, we did run into some service issues with the front desk. We repeatedly sent messages about laundry, and a change to our pickup time, but didn’t receive acknowledgement until we phoned. We also asked to change a spa appointment time. Initially, we were told it couldn’t be done, and after pressing, a call was made, but we weren’t informed afterwards that the change wasn’t possible. Overall, we loved the property, but feel the front desk would benefit from stronger management support, and clearer follow-up with guests."

"Excellent petit déjeuner qui a une valeur de 40 Dinars, j'avais une chambre au 2e étage avec vue sur la ville pour 4 jours, il y a beaucoup à faire à Tunis et aux alentours. Les chants des mosquées vous surprendront au début mais on s'habitue rapidement. Ce Dar est très bien situé dans la médina et très bien équipé, climatisation, chauffe serviette, frigo, bouilloire, bonne pression d'eau dans la douche, prises de courant accessibles. Descendez à la place du gouvernement (casbah) avec le taxi et marchez environ 6-7 minutes pour atteindre le Dar."

Mention spéciale à Monsieur Rida à l’accueil, qui est d’une gentillesse incroyable et qui contribue vraiment à rendre le séjour encore plus agréable."
