Playaakun Eco-lux Private Beach Retreat

Nestled amongst the palm trees and natural vegetation, overlooking the private beach is the main house. The grand entrance leads you into a large entertainment area. It has a large dining table, curved breakfast bar and open-plan kitchen; ideal for you to watch the chef perform some magic! The sunken sofa area has direct access to the large decking area and infinity pool plus unspoiled views out to the beach and the Caribbean sea. The decking covers the entire front of the house and leads you to a large infinity pool that incorporates a smaller bubble sitting area. This outdoor area is perfect for lounging around the pool, entertaining or just soaking up the sun. You can access the two roof terraces with outdoor sofas and natural wooden roof where you can see for miles and only of the beach and the Caribbean Sea in front but also the biosphere lagoon behind. It's in this spot that you to will sit with a cocktail and watch the sun go down! Take a long slow walk on the soft white sand for miles and miles or relax on your own private beach where our staff will be on hand to serve you with whatever you require. So relax order a Mojito and chill!

This was the perfect base for us to come back and relax at! This property was beautiful and secluded from the crowded city areas and offers you the ability to stay there with full service chef grounds keeper and maid to take care of your every need if you so choose. The only complaint is one that is common to Mexico these days and that was the sea weed. Overall the property was wonderful and so was the staff. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a safe secluded place to enjoy.

Booked one bedroom for four nights. No other bedrooms were occupied during our stay. This four bedroom property is normally offered in its entirety with all meals included. We enjoyed much peace and privacy. All of the staff were very attentive and the chef was very talented and accommodating.

What an amazing place. A gorgeous room and all the rest areas near and on the beach. Claudio and the staff were extremely friendly, ready to help, and available 24/7. You feel like you are in your private paradise. The place is on the beach and near the lagoon where you can snorkel, scuba dive, interact with nature (birds, fish, crabs, crocodiles, turtles just to name a few). Delicious food - cooked just for you. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
