Great Little Getaway

Overall, I would say we had a great experience staying at this property. The owner was easy to communicate with and answered each time we text him. The property was exactly as it said and showed in the pictures. Everything was clean and lots of stuff provided. Just a few things to mention… 1. When we got there, the front door was extremely difficult to open….it took 2 of us to finally get it. Then we couldn’t get it locked again! But my husband fixed it, so that shouldn’t be a problem in the future. 2. The heat was never turned on, so when we arrived the house was 50 degrees and took a full 24 hours to heat to an acceptable temperature. Once it warmed up, it stayed perfect. 3. There isn’t a lot of hot water, so if you have 6 people staying with you (as we did) you have to space your showers out so everyone gets hot water. Not a big deal at all…we easily worked around it! 4. When the washer is running, water splashes up through the kitchen sink when it drains. Again, not a huge deal…we just made sure everything was out of the way when we ran the washer! 5. The neighborhood is just a little sketchy. Not terrible, just not somewhere we felt like we could go out alone to walk or run. Again….we had a very pleasant experience, and I would recommend staying here!!
