" We stayed at this location two years ago for the same family visit. The suite we had reserved was not available. It was a larger room but apparently no longer available. Strange that the pictures are still shown and that we were charged the same amount for a smaller room that they said was a suite. $1,400 for a week for two 70+ people seems excessive. However, I noticed these positive changes. The room accommodations were newer, cleanliness was spot on, the bathroom had been updated, water pressure was way better, the bed was totally comfortable, bedding was spotless, and even the front desk area was newer and the front desk clerks were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. It appeared the entire space had been renovated since our last stay. We did not eat during the breakfast times, but I did notice the area was clean and several options were offered. I have only good things to say about this location except for the excessive amount I feel we were charged."

"The house was well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Plenty of linens, kitchen supplies and extra outdoor furniture and games. The golf cart was a bonus! We kept our boat in a slip at the marina at the end of the walking/golf cart path which is very steep and would have been difficult to walk with small children. Check in was simple and the owner of the property was very prompt replying to all inquiries. The street was quiet with everyone driving slowly so the kids could ride their bikes safely. We hope to be back again!!"

"The staff were excellent. Pool was being worked on, so was not available. Loverion was excellent! And the room was very clean and had a nice scent!!"

"Family from Virginia and Knoxville stayed in the house. Ver y impressed with the accommodations. The only complaint that was said is that some of the dishes were not clean that was pulled out to use but we washed them. Shannon is a very helpful and understanding. We will definitely like to use it again. "

"I have not stayed at a cleaner rental property. This was run like a Bed and Breakfast, but within the realm of reserving a hotel room for a trip, this was hands down the best decision. We drove by other properties and were so happy that we chose to stay at the Grand Lux Inn. The hardwood floors, the pristine bathrooms, I felt very comfortable to walk bare footed and not worry about dirtiness. The porches were lovely and the restaurant next door is top notch! We were just minutes away from other great food options. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. People who want to explore the nearby towns would love to make the Grand Lux their destination. Check in was simple and the door code made us feel so safe, since my sister and I were traveling together. I was excited to review this place, since it was so lovely."

"My husband, 15-year old son and I stayed for a short getaway. The A-frame was just as described and perfect for us. While there were only three of us, there was enough room for 3 more people to sleep as well. Everything we needed was provided, we just had to bring food and our fishing gear. We were able to fish and swim right from the dock and made use of the two kayaks provided. The A-frame is located right on the lake in a very quiet cove. Our host, Dustin, responded to any question we had in a timely manner. We plan to stay here again in the future!"
