This is a completely renovated Church from the 1700’s with a kickin’ sound system right in the middle of the Burren. So, there's a living room and dining room in addition to the bedrooms. There's also a small, cozy backyard. "The most beautiful setting and historic buildings modernized with every comfort. Exceptional decoration and appointments. Our host Marion was lovely and helpful and her scones were delicious. Our chef Damien Culliney performed last minute miracles feeding extra family members. His welcoming Irish stew on arrival and full Irish breakfast served our first morning were delicious…best meals we had. "Nice spot in Quin. Best for persons with rental cars. Not really walkable (dangerous road without a bright yellow vest) to Quin village but taxis and Uber is available, if you’re lucky and patient. Clean, welcoming, all you need for a long stay including washing machine, dryer, fridge, dining ware, cutlery, etc. Would stay again. "

"Beautiful setting for this cottage! We loved our week stay and had a great base to travel in this area. There was plenty of room for 6 adults. We also had so much fun feeding the family donkeys!! Please note that the property is not in the city area of Gort (like the map shows)-it is a few miles outside, in the country. Our family hopes to be back soon."

"From the beginning to the end our stay at Jim and Annies house, everything was just perfect!! We loved coming back after a long day of a sightseeing and unwinding there. We have traveled often and stayed at many AirB&Bs, but this is by far one of our favorites! They even stocked the fridge with staples and snacks and delicious bottles of wine!! Also Jim drove us to town for supplies the very first day as we didn’t have our car yet! Can’t wait to go back and visit them again someday!"

"We loved the Coachhouse! The historical setting off of a courtyard with the 18th century barracks and a castle tower was unique and memorable. The Coachhouse itself is lovely with exposed brick and wood, fully equipped kitchen and laundry and working fireplace. We loved it!"

"Modernist and comfortable self catering cottages with the best, friendliest hosts I’ve ever met. We stayed 3 nights and it was a lovely experience. The kitchen had full sized appliances that made cooking fun. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for setting out to explore Limerick City, county attractions, and local gems. There is a coffee shop attached that brings locals and visitors together. It’s a piece of heaven."

"My wife and I cancelled our hotels and booked this house for 7 days and it was so amazing that we booked and extra day and changed our flights to fly out of Shannon instead of driving back up to Northern Ireland and taking ferry back to Edinburgh. We are coming back to Ireland in 2027 and will definitely try to book this beautiful home again. We took day trips to Dublin etc. Gillian was great."

Pier and gathering areas available. On-site cafe for light snacks, coffee and drinks. Very pleased with the quiet, private location. Active farming area. Close to many restaurants and pubs in Limerick.. Top of the Town Restaurant and Pub nearby in Askeaton. Overall, highly recommended for a unique stay."

"The Derg House was perfect for our stay with lots of space and wonderful views from the house and from the garden. We enjoyed all aspects of the house with seating areas for all types of activities. Around the fire pit in the evenings was an especially lovely time and we saw the Aurora Borealis which was very special. Definitely a prime location for trips and for seeing family in near-by Nenagh. "The house was lovely, clean, well furnished (in a way that makes you feel like you’re visiting somewhere special), and spacious. We loved waking up in the morning to the spectacular views and returning home after sight seeing to a company friendly kitchen and comfortable living room. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends."

"We are completely dissatisfied with VRBO. The property they rented us in Limerick, Ireland was occupied! People had been living in it for two months. We were left stranded with absolutely NO support by VRBO. We had to go to a hotel and spend a lot of money until we found a property with another company. This really ruined our vacation in Ireland! Now we just hope we can get our money back!"
