Miyajima Seaside Hotel

"The Ferry Shuttle was on time and frequent. The staff spoke English extremely well and were so kind and welcoming. The hotel offers night shuttles so you can explore Miyajima at night. Highly recommend as there were minimal people at the later hours. The room was spacious with a fantastic view of the island and ocean. The dinner and breakfast were filling and delicious."

"The hotel was being remodeled and being updated while we stayed there. I am sure it will be excellent when completed. The room was a little small. we had 4 suitcases and movement around the room was difficult."

"This hotel is such a lovely retreat to relax and unwind. The service here is really helpful and friendly, the room is comfortable and clean, and the views are amazing. Both the private onsen and the public onsens are really nice. It’s the sort of hotel you don’t want to leave during the day since you want to stay and enjoy all the little activities and experiences. They’ve thought through so many details of the guest experience, and have added unique and special touches. My family enjoyed the games, private sauna, and letter writing room. For all that is offered, the price is reasonable. The front desk is helpful. My son had lost his bag on the Shinkansen earlier that day and the staff was instrumental to us in locating the bag as we do not speak Japanese. They were so concerned and gracious. Highly recommend!"

"Great location for visiting Miyajima, but be aware that the rooms are very small, especially the bathroom. Food was excellent at breakfast buffet!"

"This was a great stay. Very modern. Location seems far from town, but is very easy to access via local train and very convenient if you want to see the Miyajima (there is also a ferry from DT to Miyajima). Onsen is mixed gender and provides bathing suits for guests. There is outdoor and indoor bathing options. The restaurant is one of the best meals we have ever had. A very special, multi-course dinner that is included in the hotel stay."

"The public bath is wonderful. Don’t worry if you forget to make a reservation for breakfast or dinner. I made them the same day. The quality of food is good. The quantity-you will not go hungry 🙃 for sure. The room was clean and comfortable."

"Rooms were clean and staff were very kind and helpful. Beds were a bit hard for my taste but weren’t bad. Rooms are smaller than American rooms but still nice and met the necessity. Breakfast was tasty and cost 1100 yen if you chose to eat. They offer both traditional Japanese food and also western foods. Coffee was very tasty."
