"The property is a historic residence converted for hospitality. It's lovingly restored with modern facilities comfortable for westerners while still feeling like you're in historic Japan. "This was a perfect spot for our visit to Naoshima. Very convenient location, charming and gracious hosts. The house is spacious with nice character. Hosts are very attentive. They provided transportation to the ferry port as well as e-bikes for our use. The bikes are highly recommended for museum/art house hopping. Very comfy beds and a kitchen stocked with enough food for a meal. A nice touch was the fresh flowers found throughout the rooms. Overall a very pleasant and friendly spot."

"The room was quite basic but had everything we needed! It was a great place to stay. It’s right next to the bus stop which was perfect and there is a great ramen restaurant in the building as well as a delicious Okonomiyaki restaurant across the street! "
