"We've been to Rumbling Bald before so no real 'surprises'. This trip we had a massage, played some tennis, rented a pontoon boat and played pool, at Legends. Cons: wifi is spotty everywhere, twisty/winding roads and limited food choices. The patio furniture was a little worn, there were a few crumbs on the floor upon arrival, and the bed was not comfortable (to us) Pros: Victory Cafe, The Lake House. The views are spectacular and Rumbling Bald has something for everyone. The condo is perfect...

Location is a 4 min drive to the Rumbling Bald resort and having a pass to enjoy the resort was amazing. The studio is pet friendly and the restaurants with seating outside are as well which made it even better for us to have a true family stay!"

Beautiful view of backyard with chairs and fire pit. Well stocked with necessities. Nice and quiet. Definitely would stay here again!"

"Harmon had everything we needed, good location for what we wanted to see and do . The gorge zipline was an adventure rush. The purple onion was very good. The back alley barn and Tavern had wonderful music and good drink prices. It’s 20 minutes from Hendersonville, where we went to the Jubilee festival and had dinner at Brandy on Main, which was excellent."

"This was a great little place to stay just minutes from DuPont state forest. It's perfect if you're flying solo or a couple looking for a mountain retreat. All the essentials were provided and then some, including some company from two friendly cats on the front porch! Overall, it was a nice, enjoyable stay."

"We have stayed at Appel Valley Villas a couple times now. Even though the space is small, there’s everything you need. We did notice that the comforter needed to be washed and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases, otherwise no real issues. We will be coming back to visit soon."
