"Beautiful hotel in gorgeous surroundings. Very clean and tidy. The food was excellent and very good portion sizes. Hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly. Very close to all amenities but far enough away from the noise of the town. Would definitely recommend."

Truro is a great base to see Cornwall. You can take a boat/bus/train to Falmouth and many other towns and beaches. You don't even need to rent a car to reach Truro, just hop on the train from Paddington Station in London.

Taking the train from London to Truro was relaxing, less stressful and more environmentally friendly than driving. However, once there and without a car, getting around is very difficult. Taxis are limited and very expensive.
