"The best hotel in Hanoi,plain and simple.But there is one thing that needs to be mentioned.On the hotel's room page it says Flexible check-in and check-out time upon availability.But don't think this is Peninsula time at the Peninsula Hotels which you can check-in as early as 8AM and check-out as late as 16PM.Since our flight to Ho Chi Minh City was very late into the night a REAL flexible check-out was very important.Because we had used Peninsula Time before, we naively thought that we could be flexible in Capella, which is known for its luxury.Turns out their check-in and check-out policies are no different from regular hotels：upon available and pay to guarantee.The hotel did offer to let us stay in the living room as long as we wanted.And the kind staffs constantly offered us free sweets and mocktails.However since we had already checked out we just didn't feel comfortable eating and drinking for free.So we just sat there for three hours with some water and final decided we just head to the airport to see if we can get on an early flight.To be clear.Normal check-in and check-out times is fine and we are totally OK with it.Just if your check-in and check-out times are no different from regular hotels, there’s no point in mention “Flexible” on the website as if it’s a selling point, right?"

"We only stayed here for one night but wish we had stayed longer!! The staff here are so incredibly welcoming and helpful, I’ve never felt like such a VIP. We received a little honeymoon welcome gift to our room which was very special. Our room was clean and the AC was on and strong before we even stepped into the room. The breakfast is fantastic, great options and diversity in foods. Great location, near most things in the old quarter but away from the crazy Beer street noise. The rooftop infinity pool was spectacular! Our bed was definitely firm but still quite comfortable and cozy. We loved our short and sweet stay here! "

"We stayed for a week, which is a bit long for Hanoi but we had a very pleasant stay here. Very clean, friendly staff and good breakfast options - one of the best we’ve experienced in Vietnam! Pool is small but convenient for days you want to stay out of the heat! Gorgeous roof top bar with views over the lake and the old quarter."
