Being from the City, I found Troy a bit too industrial. Since this was a short trip and it was cold, we didn’t get to explore too much outside the hotel and college campuses visited.

"Everything about the property was perfect exactly as listed . Close to the fun downtown area but far enough away that the neighborhood seems pretty rough, but hey it’s Albany. The stay was awesome and if I ever come back this way I’ll definitely be looking to stay here again."

Downtown Troy is a wonderful experience with restaurants and other activities. The Hotel is is within walking distance of these activities.

The hotel is nice but the several blocks around it are a little rundown with vacant old buildings etc. The area gets nicer close to the Troy music Hall.
