"I've not stayed here before and was satisfied overall. It is a pub so a little noisy when in the hotel room as it stays open until 12. However, given it is a pub this is to be expected and not really a criticism. (I booked it knowing it was a pub so my own fault!) Facilities in the room were good - excellent shower and bathroom; tea and coffee-making equipment. Breakfast was good, pricing seems similar to other hotels in the city. There was some dust on surfaces in the room. What really stands...

"A friend and I went to Frome for a wedding, and staying at the Archangel was perfect. It was close to the wedding, shopping and Frome itself was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful, the venue had a wonderful series of quiet rooms, eating areas and our room was wonderful. The steel and brass fittings and stone work were beautiful. My one piece of feedback would be for our room; it had narrow steps up to the room which I think would not work for anyone who had disabilities. If the room does...

"We stayed two nights in the Home Guard room. The bed was comfy and quiet. Breakfast was great and the best poached eggs we’ve ever had. Dinner was great and would highly recommend. "

"We had a very comfortable stay at The Old Station Inn. Staff were really friendly and helpful upon arrival. Our room was actually much better than I had anticipated (the photo's don't really do it justice). Our room was refreshed even though we only stayed two nights. Excellent service and room all round, just a shame that we were so busy during our stay that we didn't have time to have a meal at the restaurant on site as it looked fabulous!"

"We loved it! Everything was perfect. The room is big, clean, beautiful. The building is quiet old and that is why we were surprised to find a spotless well decorated and well maintained room. The king bed is very comfortable, we slept sooo good. The hotel is in a great location. The breakfast was good. We really enjoyed it."
