Bay Gardens Hotel

"The location is really good, it's one of the main reasons I'd return. The room was okay, we had an issue with the sheets, but, it was sort of resolved. The buffet breakfast options were okay, there were ham, turkey, cheese, eggs, potatoes and pork stew on other days. The fruit wasn't too sweet but, they had pineapples, watermelon and cantaloupe. There was cereal, coffees, a few pastry options and breads. The pool is decent even though we did not use it, we took the free shuttle to Reduit beach and splash island. The Manager's cocktail night on Wednesday wasn't our best experience as we were waiting on the appetizers, and only got the fruit juice. A huge shout out to those who made our stay wonderful: Ricky, Cecilia and Slissha (think I misspelled it). We would return to the Bay Gardens family. Recommended, for couples, singles and those who especially if you have kids."

"This is an excellent spot to stay while visiting the island because they’re staying at the best snorkeling beach. Even though you have to go down to the beach, they make it easy because they have a funicular or you could step down 159 steps. The snorkeling is excellent but you should know that between 12:30 in the afternoon to 3:30 in the evening anywhere between 3 to 7 catamarans arrive with hundreds of people at the beach to snorkel because it is the best beach in the hot island. The food was very good at the restaurant. You do need to drive quite a bit to go anywhere else on the island because this place is quite secluded. Unfortunately, it cost about $100 to go somewhere and back in American USD so keep that in mind I’m trying to figure out how much it’s gonna cost you to stay here. The staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"What started out as a shaky beginning to my stay at Bel Jou was quickly turned around by the thoughtfulness, professionalism, and accommodating attitude of the onsite manager, Dean. His willingness to listen and address my concerns made a noticeable difference to the overall experience. From that point on, the stay became much more enjoyable. The atmosphere shifted to a relaxed and welcoming vibe, allowing me to settle in, unwind, and truly enjoy what Bel Jou had to offer n they did have lots to offer. The highlight was the Thursday evening BBQ. Foood. Drinks and a great atmosphere. A special thank you to Dean for his genuine hospitality and for going the extra mile to ensure that what could have been a disappointing experience became a memorable and enjoyable stay."

"Ladera Resort was even better than we imagined. Our suite was incredible-the best view & amenities. The entire resort staff was extremely kind and helpful (special shout outs to Vianney, Felix & Ariella). Highly recommend booking a meal package because all the food is incredible. We were so happy to stay active utilizing the outdoor gym, fitness center & hiking trails with incredible views. Highly recommend Ladera for your honeymoon or any special occasion!"
