Historic Birch Lodge and Motel
2.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (387)
"Beautiful setting, with a gorgeous view of the lake and so close you could throw a rock to water. However, the grounds could use better upkeep, the lawn and landscaping was quite overgrown. Our room #3 was quite clean, but rough around the edges. The value we got booking through Expedia was great less than $100 with fees and tax. We would stay at the historic Birch Lodge again in the future."

Chapel Hill Motel
2.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (74)
"This is a basic rural motel. It was wife approved clean, in room coffee was bad, inexpensive so could go out to restaurant for real good breakfast. Value was a Nine out of Ten. Quiet, easy to use, on the way to where we were headed. Wife says we can stay there again."

"We rented for a snowmobiling long weekend for 3 couples, and the place was perfect for that purpose. The issues we had were very small and insignificant (e.g., no basket in the coffee maker). I very much recommend this place, particularly for snowmobiling."
