"We liked staying in Tropic...only a few miles from the entrance gate to Bryce Canyon. The town is very small but there are several small restaurants and a grocery store very close to the Bryce Canyon Inn. Our room was very clean and the ladies at the check-in desk were very friendly."

Feb 18, 2020Visitors should know the entire town closes in winter with the exception of 1-2 hotels and 1 or 2 restaurants, depending on the weekend. It’s much lovelier than Bryce Cyn City but sleepier too.

Nov 10, 2019Tropic is a small town located around several attractions in the canyonlands. It shuts down in the off season, but there is a small grocery store, and restaurant. Take off to Bryce, Kodachrome Basin, or several other sites.
