Beautiful Tropea

Lovely stay close to old town. Francesca very helpful provided beach towels when going on boat trip and advised somewhere safe to park. A beautiful town would recommend a visit and stay.

The property has been recently upgraded. It is very well set up, far enough the center to be quiet but easily walkable. The host family are wonderful people, kind, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast is simple but good. Could not have been happier with this place!! HIghest recommendation!!

Great Location Close to Everything!

Francesco was a fantastic host! Everything was clean and organized! Instructions to the place were really easy to follow from the train station and he even drove us there on checkout because the taxi was late!

A Wonderful First Experience in Italy at Donna Rossa! This was our very first visit to Italy, and staying at Donna Rossa made it truly unforgettable. From the moment I booked, Francesco, our amazing host, reached out to coordinate our arrival and ensure we would arrive safely. That thoughtful gesture set the tone for an exceptional stay. Once we arrived, we were welcomed into a comfortable room with a breathtaking view—a perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of Calabria. The B&B is ideally located: close to the city center and just a 10–15 minute walk from the beach. Be prepared though—visiting the beaches in Calabria means walking a lot and climbing stairs, but the views and experience are absolutely worth it! Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and yogurt—simple, fresh, and perfect to start the day. Francesco was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, offering great recommendations and even arranging a taxi for us to the airport at 3 AM, which is no small feat given the limited taxi availability in Tropea. His dedication and commitment truly stood out. I highly recommend Donna Rossa to anyone visiting Tropea. We will definitely be coming back. A special thanks to Francesco and his family for running such a fantastic hotel and making our first Italian adventure so memorable!

Good option close to Tropea centre

Conveniently located between the train station and the city centre. Good communication before the arrival and throughout the stay with the owner. The room modern with good standard and had a balcony with a sea view. The room size was on a smaller side and the bed was a bit too soft for me. But overall this is a good option for a place to stay in Tropea.

Eine wirklich schöne und absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft! Die Lage ist ruhig, etwas abseits, aber Strand und Stadt sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Frühstück wird auf der Terrasse serviert und die Zimmer sind großzügig, sauber, teilweise mit Balkon. Der Vermieter ist der perfekte Gastgeber, der alles tut, um seine Gäste glücklich zu machen - er gibt Restauranttipps und Strandempfehlungen, bereitet leckeres italienisches Frühstück, besorgt bei Bedarf sogar besondere Speisen (zum Beispiel glutenfrei), stellt Sonnenschirme bereit, hat immer gute Laune - ich wäre gerne länger geblieben!

Donna Rosa har ett perfekt läge med närhet till både stad och stränder. Francesco är otroligt service-minded och gör sitt yttersta för att hans gäster ska trivas. Vårt rum var rent och fräscht och vi hade en härlig balkong med fantastisk utsikt. Skulle absolut välja detta boende igen!
