"Wir, 5 Erwachsene und ein Hund, haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig, ausgestattet mit allem, was das Herz begehrt, und schön ruhig am Waldrand gelegen. Als für wenige Minuten der Strom in der Gegend ausfiel, wurden wir sofort mit Licht und einer Flasche Sekt versorgt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Lovely accommodation food really good and great choice of breakfast. The only fault we had is with parking, after having driven 7 hours we found nowhere to park. We had to park on pavement across road, don't rely on parking being available. I think the great location and setting meant other non residents used the hotel parking."

"Shabby chic hotel, which kind of fits into the environment. This was the second time we stayed here as it’s a perfect overnight stop for us. Yes it needs updating, bathroom decor late 70s, early 80s but all in all, good value for money. Hotel is in a great location for walking, cycling and hiking."

"Having booked this hotel with very low expectations I was blown away by its facilities and 5* restaurant. The staff were fantastic, rooms exceptionally clean and restaurant was the best in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend. The hotel Kunz offers exceptional value for money and easy parking which is always welcome especially as i was in a large van."

"Fabulous stay filled a childhood dream. Father was stationed at the Air Base when it closed. We used to walk the village often. Always loved the property. It didn’t disappoint. "

"Schönes altes Haupthaus mit Verbindung zum Neubau. Lage und Aussicht ist super. Spa ist schön, aber beim Hochbetrieb ist überfüllt. Die Liegen sind zu wenig. Sauna ist im extra Gebäude. Die Wellness- Handtücher sind zu klein. Die Zimmer sind arg klein, schräge Wände und mini TV. Essen war gut, aber im großen Restaurant waren die Leute zu laut! Für ein Kurztrip ist OK. "

Great Property…Killer view!

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."
