A beautiful lake view cabin on Friends Lake

"We had an amazing week at this cabin. The kitchen, furnishings, bedding, etc, were all top of the line. I was particularly jealous of the deep, vintage kitchen sink and double oven! The setting was quiet and we had plenty of space and privacy from neighbors. It cooled down nicely and stayed cool inside during the days, even in extreme weather, because of the shade. (I actually asked the host how to turn off the AC on arrival. There is no AC! Lol) They also provided fans for each room, so you don't need to bring your own. The only downside to the shade was it was hard to get towels, wet shoes, and suits dry, so we recommend bringing extra! I was also glad I brought a set of clothes bars to hang items inside in rainy days. The host was there to greet us shortly after our arrival the first day, and showed us where the kayaks and rowboat were located. We were nervous at first because the beach was marked "private," but the hosts are members so we had full access. The location is excellent with tons to do in the surrounding area. My daughter was able to use the WiFi to work remotely all week without a problem, while the rest of the family ventured out on morning adventures. We highly recommend this location!"

"The property was just as described. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen had everything I needed and the beds were so comfortable. The grounds were well kept and the lake is beautiful. Several times I was visited by a Doe and her twin fawns! The Loons calling and the crazy Red Squirrels made morning coffee on the porch perfect. Overall a peaceful relaxing stay. Thank you Bryce!"

"Such a cozy property to stay in, we loved the overall atmosphere and theming of the rooms! One thing I noticed that I’ve never had in any other rentals is that the kitchen was fully stocked with condiments, spices, etc - something I would never expect from a host but definitely adds to my overall positive experience with this property! The host was very quick with responding to any questions we had, and check in/out was very simple. Definitely would stay here again!"

"We had our family come and stay for a week. What an amazing experience! The yard was great for the grandchildren to play, the hot tub was amazing and the house was beautiful and clean. We had a wonderful time. The house was close to Lake George, but away from all the chaos and commotion. It is wonderfully located in a peaceful wooded area. We would 100% recommend this home for a family vacation!"
