The location was beautiful, peacefull and relaxing. Hosts were excellent. Rooms very clean with a beautiful selection of continental breakfast on the first day. You could not ask for any more. Local snorkelling, fishing, and beach area, also walking routes. Would definitely come back.

Friendly, comfortable, quiet and great value

We were looking for somewhere relaxing for our first trip to Jersey and found it at Bouley Bay. The hosts and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great value for money - breakfast goodies and fresh fruit on tap all day and we had excellent scrambled eggs and mushrooms at no extra charge each every morning personally delivered to our spotless room with the huge comfy bed. Great value for money! We did hire a car - Jersey is not big, but roads are narrow! But we were aware the buses option worked well for many. Late September and still warm enough to swim in the sea and the guest house pool.

Lovely location, away from the madding crowd.

We needed a location close to the North Coast this was the only Hotel/guest house we could find that fitted the requirement. It turned out to be magic, wonderful accommodation, adequate breakfast which suited our needs, lovely although restricted sea view out of the room window, car park a bit on the cramped side but more space available at the bottom of the hill near the pebble beach. Bus service almost from the hotel door which proved the best and cheapest way to get around while my vehicle was participating in a sporting activity. Weather not as good as same time last year, lots of sea mist which restricted views to France and other islands. Staff very accommodating to our needs, room was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We hope to be returning to Jersey next year to partake in our sporting activity again and would certainly be rebooking a stay at Undercliff. Thanks to Richard & Ida for an enjoyable stay. Lovely relaxing break.

Brilliant hosts, excellent area of the island, so beautiful. Food is fantastic and nothing is too much. Lovely selection at breakfast. Little details like huge amounts of coffee, sugar etc., in our room, plus fresh milk and kit kats when we arrived. Outdoor pool was heated and looked iniviting, but we did not have time to use. Room very comfortable but a little tired. Bathroom very clean.

Lovely old Guest House with a pool, near beach.

We think since the seventies we have been so satisfied with Undrcliff that we have been back about 18 times, but have lost count. Food is very good although sadly it is only breakfast now. In the past the evening meal was outstanding and we were not the only ones who went back year after year.

Beautiful hotel our room looked out over gardens to the sea beautiful unusual building spotless , friendly owners Great for walkers few mins from sea.great if you use a car..But if you dont have a car it is a long way from centre & we went in may & the bus was operating on spring timetable which ment last bus back left town before 6pm bus nu 4

Very Convenient

We were walking the coastal path, so Undercliff is a good choice as it's only a few yards from the cliff path. It's a short walk to the local pub/restaurant too. The room was ok without being spectacular. A continental breakfast is included with extra for a full English. It seemed to us as if everyone staying wanted breakfast at the same time, so felt a bit rushed, crowded and warm! However, the staff kept up and the food was good. The walking either side of Bouley Bay is spectacular, some of the best views in the UK.

Lovely Hosts

Despite arriving with a baby (Unknown to us, but not really allowed as it is a quiet hotel), the owners were able to find us a room a little away from the other guests so that if the baby had cried it would have all been ok. The Breakfast was great and the location very pretty. The hotel is located in the NW corner of the island with a carpark and nearby Pub with very nice dinners.

Lovely setting

Really lovely weekend in a beautiful setting. This charming country guest house is homely and welcoming. A car is definitely needed. Our hosts were extremely helpful and made us feel at home. Our room was a small double but adequate for our weekend, the décor was lovely as was the rest of the house, very in keeping with this character cottage home .A good breakfast set us on our way each day, we will definitely be back.

Ruhig gelegenes Guest House

Das Haus liegt geeignet für Urlauber, die absolute Ruhe suchen und wandern möchten. Der nahegelegene Strand ist ungünstig zum schwimmen, sodass man dafür eine andere Bucht suchen wird. Nur ein Pub in der Nähe, kein Laden. Die Leiter des Guest Houses sind freundlich und bemüht, aber nicht in der Lage, ein entspanntes Frühstück zu bieten, da die Frühstückszeit auf 9- 10 Uhr begrenzt ist, sodass alle gleichzeitig kommen und der Service dann entsprechend ist. Unser Zimmer war zwar sauber, aber zu klein, der Schrank ebenfalls, das Badezimmer ein winziges Gäste-WC mit eingebauter 70x70cm Dusche und 30x40 cm großem Waschbecken! Altmodische Wolldecken auf den Betten. Einzig schön: Der Blick aus dem Fenster, das Haus von außen und die Gartenanlage. Auf keinen Fall 4-Sterne Standard! Wir reisten bereits am zweiten Tag ab- obwohl wir 14 Tage gebucht hatten- um uns eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen
