"The Onyx was a perfect place for my stay in St. Julian’s Bay. Super clean, quiet, and beautiful, modern accommodations. And very reasonably priced compared to nearby hotels. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was in a great central and secure location. The pub next door has amazing meat pies! The rooftop pool would have been nice to enjoy, but I was not there during swim season apparently. (And ot was a bit chilly) The shower was nice and had great water pressure. And I enjoyed my week there. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay again next time I come back to Malta."

"The food was good especially the buffet on Saturday night. The highlight of it was the pasta and the staff providing it. Also the roast table, it was good too. The construction work was a major negative. we had no idea before booking that a major new facility was going up within a few yds of the hotel. Again the bar staff were very good at the buffet."

"Rooms very high standards clean and well maintained location central and easy to access via car park .getting to and from reception breakfast area and rooms via lifts very confusing and difficult some clearer signage at lift areas would help .when lifts are working correctly "

"It was my first time in Malta. I had zero expectations and I was blown away. Especially how well kept the hotel was and how friendly and helpful the staff was. Rooms were clean and comfortable. When I checked out I was even offered a to go breakfast box as my flight was at 7am, which I couldn’t resist. Highly recommend this hotel and was worth every penny I payed. Will definitely be back :)"
