Lakefront on Sebago Lake

"We just returned from a wonderful four day trip to this lovely home. It is decorated beautifully comfortably and creatively with charming little touches everywhere. The kitchen is a wonderful place to cook, with plenty of counter space and high end appliances. The home is spacious and clean with excellent air conditioning when needed, and the view from the house was just magnificent! There was plenty of comfy seating both indoors and out. There was a canoe with oars and lifejackets for us to use. They were even pickle ball rackets! It was really almost perfect. Just a few things detracted from a 5 star review. The beds were very soft (maybe some people like that). The outdoor area had a lot of mosquitos. And although we knew that there were officially no toiletries included, having stayed in multiple vacation homes over the years we have always found basics in the bathrooms like shampoo, body wash and toothpaste. So coming in late at night and not to have those things was inconvenient. And no coffee (even though there was a coffee maker)! so remember to bring everything you may need even sunscreen.We had a really great time and would definitely come again! Thank you!"

"The house was very nice, clean and fully stocked for a family vacation. However, the listing mentioned that there was a canoe and kayaks, as well as an outdoor theater. There was only 2 inflatable paddle boards and no theater. Also, the access to the lake is only about 4' wide and there is no beach or dock. If you want to put the paddle boards in the water, you have to walk down the street quite a bit further to put them in at a dock. The only way a lake view is possible is if there are no leaves on the trees.Also, do not expect much from the washer and dryer. I only put a couple pair of underwear, some socks, a sweatshirt and 2 t-shirts in to be washed and the washer would not wring out the clothes. So everything had to be wrung out by hand and hung over the railing to be dried. I also did not wear those clothes again because I felt as if they were not really clean since there was still so much water in the clothes.The fire pit was great. The kitchen was great to use for breakfasts and dinner. Beds were ok. The upstairs suite was perfect for us, while the kids all had the downstairs bedrooms and bath.If they would update their listing to remove the items that are not included, make the lake access a little more clear in the listing, and replace the washer and dryer unit, this would be a great place."
WATERFRONT ON SEBAGO LAKE

"We just returned from a week stay and there were some pros and cons.Pros:The property management was extremely responsive. Lakefront- beautiful deck, dock and lots of water toys.Dog friendlyBasement was good for the kids- they loved the karaoke machine.Quiet neighborhood, but close to town and about an hour to Portland.Kitchen had everything you need to prep and cook meals.Great fire pitCons:Cobwebs (and spiders) EVERYWHERE. The house could use a good clean inside and out.Windows need replacing- some slam shut.Front (screen) door needs replacing.Sewage smell when on the deck- notified property manager who said they would look into it right away.Basement is not fit to sleep in- my kids wouldn't go near the bed on the floor.Sunroom needed a good clean and replace some of the old furniture.No screen door on the back door. Given there is no central AC, you can't leave the door open to get a cross breeze without letting in a ton of bugs.A lot of trash on the property- could use a good clean up.Expensive for the week, but I guess because it is waterfront."

"The lodge was an excellent choice and an excellent location. Sitting right on the river with a beautiful deck overlooking the river. There were canoes inner tubes lifejackets everything you needed to enjoy the river."

"The weekend stay was great. Easy check in and the cabin was cute. We were excited to take our boat to the boat launch right down the road. We mostly hung out on the property and enjoyed a fire both nights. We would definitely return for another stay."
LARGE Waterfront Sandy Bottom Lake House on Brandy/Long Lake

"It’s rare to be able to rent a pet friendly lake side home that is this gorgeous and well appointed. The house has a lovely sandy beach which is great for paddling around in and launching kayaks, paddle boards and the peddle boat. There’s a large dock that’s perfect if you rent a pontoon boat like we did and there’s lots of seating to hang out down at the docks to enjoy your coffee or cocktail. The living area upstairs is large and comfortable with a great chef’s kitchen and a big porch with retractable overhang. There’s another living room downstairs which is great for the kids to hang out and watch movies. We loved it and look forward to going again next year!"

"Very nice, newly renovated house in a quiet Sebago Cove community. The house has modern amenities (A/C, washer/dryer, large TVs), a landscaped back yard and great common space inside and out. There is a big kitchen with an island and seating. The separate game room above the garage with pool table is a bonus! Great spot for friends and family to gather. CR"
