It was like staying at your friend's grandparents' place where you didn't know if you were really welcomed or not. The chain smoking grandma was friendly, but sometimes moody, and I never saw grandpa with a shirt on. No complaints about the room itself, but I felt like I was encroaching on a family home. "We were in Desenzano for 4 nights as part of an Italy vacation. Our stay at the Elisa was so wonderful, from the smell when you walked in to the modern, tastefully decorated room, the superb breakfast and access to the patio. Centrally located. Super friendly staff. Very happy with our stay. "

"The B&B was fabulous. It is situated in a small town above the lake and is very quiet. The property had been renovated and was beautiful…from the dining area, stairs and room. The hostess was wonderful and helpful. We stayed in Le Bore room and had our own private balcony. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had also been renovated. The place was exactly as advertised. Breakfast was also wonderful! I would highly recommend it!"
