Hotel Packhuset is centrally located in Kalmar, walking distance to all the city sights. Parking right out front with attentive Reception staff Alexandra, Julia & Elly ensuring our three night stay went without a hitch. They willingly advised us on how to use the parking meters outside (as limited Swedish experience with this)…..and we arrived early - room ready thx to Tereza (housekeeping) and early access was no problem!
We booked standard room with smorgasbord Breakfast, afternoon Fika & Dinner included. The room is very comfortable & the food outstanding. We had several chats with chef Roffe, who clearly loves what he is doing & it shows in the food. This fella can cook!! Gym & Sauna very high standard & appreciated to work off the great Swedish cooking!"
