"An historic building. Large hotel which is is pretty well maintained. Staff were all great and really pleasant. Very surprised how good the food was. We had 3 course menu in what was a busy restaurant. Food arrived quickly and was excellent. Room was large with a comfortable bed. Overall an excellent weekend and yes I would go back."

It ended up being a much better option: the staff was lovely, the bar and restaurant was great, and the rooms were nice and comfortable for what we needed.
