"We were new to the Interlochen area, as we normally stay farther north, but we loved the convenience of the location to other areas in NoMi. I highly recommend Interlochen State Park, especially if you're traveling with your pups. The home itself was well laid out and SO warm and cozy. "This was our second stay on Bass Lake, but first in this location. We really appreciated having access to a beach and kayaks, plus the fire pit was excellent. The house has all the things you would want for a long stay, plus the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The owners were attentive and friendly, and made us feel welcome. "My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in April. It was lovely - we loved the house/atmosphere. I am a clean freak and it was clean enough - not perfect, but clean enough that I was very comfortable. 😊 The decor and design of the place was great - cozy, restful, quiet. "It's was a cute condo but could use some updating of the recliner and pull out couch mattress. The ice maker in the freezer had mineral build up that left floaties in your beverage as the ice melted. The jetted tube needs to have the jets cleaned more frequently as they were filled with icky stuff. The hot tub and pool were closed and not scheduled to open until the next weekend which we wish we had known. We were looking forward to using them but were never informed of this aspect. The...
