Beachside 102 Waterfront Condo

Summary:
This stunning, first floor beachfront condo sits directly on sparkling East Grand Traverse Bay! Your private patio is only a few steps from the sandy beach, and you'll love the bay view from the open concept floor plan. Savor your morning coffee or evening wine from the private deck, while watching the waves on the bay.
One bedroom, one bathroom, 850 square feet, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Convenience, style, relax, enjoy!

The Space:
The bedroom has a King size bed with a comfy pillow-top mattress as well as two separate closets.

The bathroom has a large "Garden tub" and separate shower, and also features a huge mirrored wall.
The bathtub is not jetted. Please note the tub is a 2 person tub, and will not fill for single person use since the hot water heater is too small to fill it completely.

The living room has a three pillow couch (that doubles as a pull out sofa), recliner, all new flooring, and breathtaking views of the bay.
The living room also has a new lounge chair and two barstools. The dinning area has a round table and four chairs.

There are 2 TVs with streaming services, free WIFI, multiple USB charging outlets in living room and bedroom.

When you are ready to head outside, grab the beach towels provided and enjoy the 300-foot private sandy beach with lounge chairs, or the newly-finished heated swimming pool and hot tub (available Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend)

A public launch with watersports rentals is right next door!
Boat and jet ski rentals available nearby or can be delivered.
Rent bicycles across the street and ride the paved TART trail into downtown, which is also just a short drive down the road by car. You'll find all kinds of dining options, shopping and entertainment, and more beaches. Nearby are wineries, breweries, distilleries. Hiking trails galore, beachcombing and stargazing are all a part of the Upnorth experience, and all are close at hand.

Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.

A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $49 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $500. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Golden Swan retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.

High chair and pack n play available upon request for an additional charge.

There is one parking space allowed per condo.

There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.

If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this property. The condo was very clean and in a great location. We loved being right on the beach and also having a pool. We would stay again.

Relaxing clean condo, tastefully decorated. View of the water was calming. Easy in and out of the complex with a traffic light just outside the complex access. Not far from activities.

Perfect condo for two. Awesome location and great view of the bay - right on the beach! Easy access to TC, Petoskey, etc. Katy very responsive with our questions. It's located off US31 so there is road noise early morning but not a big deal for us. We have recommended to friends and will definitely be back.

This place is spot on as advertised. Nicely decorated and super clean. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just steps away from the beach and with a beautiful view. We have enjoyed the pool and the hot tub at the property as well. Water sports rental right at the beach. Short distance to downtown Traverse City. Katy was very easy to communicate with and we really enjoyed the welcome bottle of wine that was left for us. Definitely would recommend to others and come back 😊.

Katy was a wonderful host and the property was adorable, clean and exactly as advertised. We booked for weekdays in September hoping ti avoid crowds and it worked out perfectly. We did not use the beachfront because it was far too cold the days we were there. I can imagine the convenience of it with children and how busy the location must be in the summertime. Since I booked entirely through VRBO I did not know the name of the condo building or the exact location until after paying for my reservation. I checked reviews of the condo on other websites when we arrived. Katy's rental was beautiful and updated but I doubt the rest of the rental spaces at The Beach are as nice. I truly think this location is a diamond in the rough. I recommend booking here of you're a couple who needs somewhere to get away and still be near the rest of the Traverse Bay action.

I've stayed in this complex several times over the years. I'm not sure whether it's the owner or the managements fault, but when you pay this much for a high quality place, you expect a lot. The kitchen cupboards need fixing (especially under the sink). The screen in the patio door is ripped, and you can't leave it open at night because of mosquitos. The shower had a mat that blocked drainage...or was the drainage just bad? There was a sour/mildew smell from the shower curtain/liner. Gross. Having said this, the place was clean, the response time for me thinking the lights had burned out (the dimmer had been down all the way) was extremely fast and courteous. Beautiful view of the bay, and nice decor. I hate leaving bad reviews, but for the $ you spend, these things should be taken care of.

I loved the condo. The only thing I had difficulty with was I am short and the shower head was super high and impossible for me to reach. It was pointed at the wall but I managed to find a way. Other than that, the normal noise of summer vacation time was there but I sure hope to rent again in the future. Such a beautiful place indeed!

The condo was better than expected - more spacious then it appeared online. Good view of the lake. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in June. The pool was open as well as the hot tub. Amenities - washer and dryer, everything you need to cook(utensils pots pans etc). The only downfall(s) of the condo was the amount of noise you could hear from vehicles early in the morning - our room was located by a traffic light. There are earplugs provided which leads me to believe this might have been a complaint before. If you sleep past 5am I wouldn’t recommend. We rented this condo for the beach however it was difficult to enjoy as there were dead fish along the entire shoreline/beach . The smell was a little much as well. When we left the facility I cleaned up (washed towels and dishes/put away) and it was almost as how we found it. I received a message from the owner that a remote was possibly missing. I’m not certain what ended up happening but I was a little concerned since the condo was spotless when I left and almost untouched during our stay.

This first floor condo right on the East Bay couldn't have been nicer. The management company was so very attentive before, during and after our stay. Slide open the patio doors and step out on the sand! Catch the beauty of both sunrises and sunsets from this unit. Just a few miles from the hustling action of the town, which was a nice respite after a busy day of shopping or kayaking. Will definitely return!!
