"The Art Hotel was just a happy experience. All the staff were helpful and spoke English. ( great for Aussies who don’t ) Muller the barman. especially , was super keen to please. Over the bridge from the main square was great, nice and peaceful. Not expensive but let’s face it, as tourists we only need a good bed . Too busy out all day and half the night exploring. "Had a quick, lovely stay for one night in Hallstatt. The hotel is very quiet and secluded, with a beautiful view of the lake. Roshni, our host, was wonderful and was able to answer all our questions and arranged storage for our luggage."

"The two girls that helped me out were extremely helpful and kind. One was a bit newer, the other had been there a while. They went out of their way to let me in the gym until they closed, as well as helped me out with tea, and recommendation. I didn’t have wifi in my room and they did their best to get the wifi situated in a way that helped me. I didn’t end up getting better signal, but it was the effort on their part that showed me they were willing to go above and beyond. Close trip to Hallstatt, and Bad Ischl itself was beautiful. Wish there were more open food options but if you look hard enough or ask for recommendations you can find a couple good ones. Great location right by the water, restaurant had a fantastic steak, and breakfast buffet was also very good. Will return one day."
