"We had an excellent time in Regua staying at the "Hidden Gem". The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace was an awesome spot to look over the city and the river with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Great location, great restaurant 2 doors up the street. Jose was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!"

Ils nous ont accueillis avec des fleurs, un panier de légumes, des oeufs, des citrons.... La maison est très bien équipée. Bref il n'y a plus qu'à poser ses valises. Nous reviendrons !"

"We had a great time in this lovely place hidden away in Portugal. We were a mixed group of friends and family - ages from 5 to 85. The facilities were excellent and the views were absolutely amazing. The hosts and Maria were incredibly helpful - Brilliant!"

"The host was a terrific communicator, very responsive. The house was impressive, roomy with fully stocked kitchen. Security gated property with nice views over-looking town of Paso da Regua and Douro River. Close to a variety of restaurants, and the tour boat dock on the Douro River. Just across river a few kilometers away are a number of wineries to enjoy. Suggest make reservation at vineyards for wine-tastings, tours etc."

"We stayed at this property during the first week in October. There were 7 of us ranging in age from 40 to 73. The property is beautiful and has everything you need. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom. The pool is wonderful. There are not a lot of restaurants in the area, and you need to have transportation to get to them. We opted to have our host, Ana, arrange to have a chef prepared our meals for the 2 nights we were there…food with wine paring. The meals were fabulous! Think about this as...

"A wonderful stay in stunning surroundings. The views on the road from the villa to Peso da Régua are simply breathtaking. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is exceedingly well equipped with every appliance you can think of. The beds are comfortable and all rooms have air conditioning. The pool, although not the largest is ideal and there is a lovely shaded area and bbq. Having said all that, what made it the perfect holiday for us was the warm welcome, care and attention...
