It’s also in a terrific location - 5 mins to the port for island ferries, a nearby beach, great food options and shops. Really enjoyed our stay a happy to recommend it. "

"The host was wonderful and welcoming. So many helpful tips about what to see, where to go, what not to miss. Don’t forget to avail yourself of his unique pulley system for your luggage. A lot easier than lugging up several flights of a spiral staircase. The gentleman we interacted with (owner) is so proud of his city, his B&B, and his COFFEE! He’s an expert at all three. I’ll miss awakening each morning without the latter. A delightful place and host. "

"Friendly and helpful staff but the place is a bit run down. There is a strong smell of cleaning products and the room on ground floor is very damp and moldy. I'd recommend looking in the never part of town; east of the train station "

"The hotel was located near the sea, and near the town center, making it very convenient. The staff was great, and helped us with our questions. Our room was large and the shower was very big. The hotel itself was very clean and had lotts of marble."

"Fantastic spot for travellers looking for slightly off the beaten path tranquil experience. Beautiful setting, quiet, tasty breakfast and on-site restaurant, including wine tasting from their region. We stayed for two nights and that was perfect amount of time to relax and recharge. The rooms could benefit from bigger windows/more light but apart from that, no other considerations. Highly recommend. "
