"Quaint, old-style and spacious, and well situated near the centre of Edinburgh. Quiet. Good breakfast. However, it did seem expensive for what it is, although its location and high season may be the reasons."

"Hotel was easy to find and approximately 10 minute walk from the tram station which takes you into the city centre or to the airport. Room was clean and comfortable however the walls are very thin and as such this makes for a noisy atmosphere. We could hear people coming in late at night and leaving early in the morning. However this was my only real problem with the hotel. Decent for price. "

"We had a room that looked out over the main road. It gets a little stuffy at night, so we had to open the windows. This made it rather noisy, but otherwise it's a good place to stay. It's clean, comfortable, and walking distance from most things."

"Great location for exploring Edinburgh, city centre is easily walkable. Arrived late due to transport issues and host was very accommodating. Room was downstairs so no windows, but was clean and a nice place to stay in. Private bathroom wasn’t en suite which wasn’t an issue, but I feel like this could have been made clearer when booking. Other than that, great price for a very convenient location. "

"Only stayed 1 night as stopover. No breakfast or parking but room was clean and comfy, perfect for what was needed for us. Two things I'd ask to fix: shelf in bathroom was falling down and curtains didn't quite cover the window so light crept in bit too early. Other than that it was perfectly nice accommodation, easy check-in and check-out"
