"Maison idealement située pour visiter Porto, le Douro et les alentours. Terrasses et jardin tres agreable. Excellent confort. La climatisation est un plus aussi par forte chaleur. L hote est tres attentionné : citronnade et orangeade à l arrivée, fruits du verger, oeufs, confiture maison ... son père est même passé dans la semaine nous rapporter des fruits. Merci encore à eux 2 pour la qualité de notre sejour au Portugal. Tout etait parfait et je recommande cette location à 200 % !"

"Mario arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport, which was really thoughtful and helpful. Mario was there on arrival and was able to show us around.The taxi driver (Fernando) also arranged pick ups for us when we were there, if he couldn't do it. He spoke good English.The house was amazing, as well as the tennis courts and the pool. The pool could do with a cover, as trees debris and small insects would fall in.It's a good location to Porto, in a quiet neighbourhood, it's not a tourist area. The view from the balcony was so lovely and it felt like a real break, very peaceful.Mario and Fernando, went the extra mile for me, when I forgot my passport at the house, on the day I left! Thank you for a lovely break. My kids and my dad want to return!"

"Great area to rest and relax. Beautiful scenery. The house is very large. Great kitchen. Mostly all positive. If I had to be picky, I would say the water is not drinkable, so you need to buy bottled water. Also, the upstairs bathroom had a funny smell, expected in with older homes. We had a great stay."

"This is an old family home, that hasn't been updated for holiday guests. The hosts are warm and friendly, they will come and let you in. They often pop around although always ask you first. It is like staying at a relative's spare house. Some people will find this charming others disruptive. The pool and outside space is great, very little nearby but a cheap taxi ride into Porto. Fantastic restaurant a 10 minute cab away in Rio Tinto - Ponte do Freixo."

"la maison est très agréable avec un très joli exterieur. les 2 chambres au rez de chaussée sont très bien, la 3ième est au sous sol avec une toute petite fenêtre. La maison est ideal pour 6 mais les lits d'appoints( pour 8 personnes) sont des lits très leger très bas. Il y a un matelas 2 places mais à poser au sol ( confort moyen) au sous sol . Difficulté pour trouver l'adresse exact."
