"Great to have onsite decent gym with studio. Pool and spa. Restaurant had live music sat and sun nights while i was there. Was packed of locals and guests. Breakfast was tasty. Parking is only a short walk away. I was in the new area of the hotel which was a bit of an internal maze to get to (few stairs - there are lifts). But room overlooked river and bed was comfortable. Didn’t get any noise from the gym considering it was close to room. Enjoyed my stay."

"Wow if you are looking for the perfect family escape in a beautiful Irish country farmhouse Sporthouse is for you. The 5 bedrooms are all lovely with comfy beds all with their own ensuite bathroom. The downstairs bedroom has its own access via a ramp with wide door access directly to the downstairs bathroom. The glass double doors into the kitchen and living area can be opened up giving wheelchair access to all of the downstairs of the house which was wonderful for one of our guests. The garden is stunning. We ate outside a couple of days (this is Ireland so weather permitting!) and enjoyed the garden and listening to the birds - it is very peaceful. Loved the big island in the kitchen and dining table where we played board games and had great fun while preparing meals. The utility room has its own kitchen also which was handy.Great location close to Tramore Beach where we enjoyed long beach walks and Seagull Bakery had great coffee and wonderful treats. We also booked in (on the hosts recommendation) for afternoon tea in Waterford Castle - now that was a real treat. We drove over to Dunmore East a gorgeous little fishing village with lots of nice places to eat.Waterford City was a 15 min drive away and we enjoyed the Museum and House of Waterford Crystal and discovered “Penneys” a bargain department store! Thanks to Maria for been our wonderful onsite hosts - she was quick to respond and super friendly.Overall a great stay and we would love to come back to Sporth"

"Property situated in a nice environment and close to amenities with good safe parking. We booked a small twin room with en-suite shower room. Located outside the room was a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities with plenty of tea/coffee/milk sachets available. The room itself being bright and modern with comfy pillows. We booked for 4 nights and were happy. The room itself is very small so don’t bring lots of baggage as there is no wardrobe and no storage, aside from some hanging pegs and hangers . For a weekend this place is ideal. I would certainly book again if travelling through this way. The town and beach were just beautiful! The host was most helpful and asked for feedback/improvements to enhance future stays. A helpful caring host and very nice experience all round."

"Cute place to stay above a lovely pub and on the water. Good value for money. Pros: dog friendly, beach access, beverage tray with sparkling water and tea/instant coffee and a kettle (always nice). Little things that could be improved: there was no full size bath towel, just a hand towel and shower mat, window had been left ajar for fresh air (which is great) but meant that by the time I arrived, there were a ton of knats/midges/little bugs inside and outside the window."
