The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Great position and waterside views from front. Occasional train noise at rear. We were there in heatwave so a couple of fans would have been useful."

"The home was beautiful and very homely! It was very child friendly which we were very mesmerised by! Baby gates for safety and literally everything you could think of needing for a child was there even something simple like a calpol syringe! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will 100% be booking again"

"It’s a well equipped apartment in a good area. The floor was not clean, and the property is in need of some maintenance. The mattresses are very springy and uncomfortable. The upstairs toilet doesn’t flush very well and leaves a bad drainage smell after use. The road noise spoils the view from the balcony and the close proximity to the train station, which serves stabling trains, early morning and late evening with engines running should be mentioned."
