Leonardo Boutique Hotel Linz City Center

"The Leonardo Boutique Hotel is situated in a perfect location just a few minutes walk from Hauptplatz in the Alstadt, Landstraße, the pick up point for the sightseeing train and Pöstlingbergbahn, Buy a combo ticket and take in a Danube cruise too! There are bars and restaurants on Hauptplatz as well as bakeries where you can purchase freshly made sandwiches and cakes. Don’t forget to try the Linzertorte at Jendrak! For those of a futuristic mindset, the Ars Electronika museum is a must. The residents of Linz are lovely people, as are the staff at the hotel. Rooms at the Leonardo are very comfortable, and provide everything you need for a short stay. If you prefer a cup of tea in the morning instead of the coffee machine, you can obtain a kettle at reception. Transfers to and from the airport are around £23 in an Uber. Bus 601 from the airport to Linz main railway station is about €5 pp but the bus only runs every hour. I would highly recommend Linz for an enjoyable city break. NB. We travelled on 24th August for five days. The weather was glorious - 30 degrees during the day and balmy in the evening."

"This hotel was a delight. It was easy to get to and close to the Danube river walks. There was a lovely patio to enjoy snacks. Breakfast was fresh and perfect for the day. I will keep it in my log of hotels to stay at."

"I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Linz. We had 2 rooms for our family of four. It felt very luxurious and comfortable. The location can’t be beat. It’s right in the old historic square. The breakfast was such a pleasant surprise. Just delicious."

"The staff were very helpful and welcoming with great manners. The location of the hotel is ideal, it’s on a busy strip but it’s definitely not noisy or disruptive. The hotel is close to the main station and the trams. I would definitely recommend this hotel, I was pleased and would come here again. The rooftop was a nice sit down for dinner, the food was lovely."

"Vraiment un endroit très bien malgré un extérieur un peu incertain au premier coup d’œil. Les chambres sont spacieuses, modernes, propres et très bien organisées, il y a tout ce qu’il faut et même une petite buanderie au sous-sol. J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour et si j’avais à revenir à Linz, je retournerais à cet hôtel!"
