"The hotel is really beautiful, you get the WOW effect upon arrival. The staff is the nicest people we ever met. I think is one of the most beautiful hotels and views of UBUD. The landscape, the common areas, the spa, the restaurant… everything is just amazing! Our Butlers were amazing, always ready to help and taking care of every detail! The only negative that we can say is that water of the private pool in our villa was so cold we couldn’t use it and, due to the high humidity of the area, the villa has a smell of humidity quite intense. The staff kindly gave us some incense so we would mask a bit the smell. Also, we found that it wasn’t nice that when you order a taxi, the hotel makes 2-3 times more money than the actual driver. Instead of just calling you a taxi, they pay the taxi and charge you for x3 the usual rate. "

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a hill view room with lovely views, granted that I had to be ready to face monkeys as they did come and walk along it, hang off chairs etc. Be mindful to keep food out of sight. The ambience at this hotel is chilled, calm and helps you to immerse in the culture. I loved it and would stay again. The hotel sent me a tray of desserts expressing with a card wishing me well after I sustained an injury on an excursion. Such care. Also the food here was out of this world. "
