Private House Retreat on Beautiful Lake Hartwell with Private Pool

"This is our second time staying at this fabulous home. We came last year for a family reunion and fell in love with it. This home is beautiful and well maintained. There is plenty of seating for our large family to comfortably hang out indoors and outdoors. The kids loved the game room, pool, hot tub, and having a bed room large enough for all the cousins sleep in the same room. All of the bedrooms have comfortable beds and great bedding so you wake up well rested. This is the most relaxing and comfortable place we have ever stayed in that can accommodate our family of twelve. I especially loved the well appointed kitchen. You actually have everything you need to cook with and aren’t having to run to the store constantly to grab something. Kevin has thought of absolutely to make you feel right at home! The pictures don’t do it justice. This is a hidden gem!We will be back again next year."

"Excellent lakefront property with dock. This house is excellent for couples. It is a private house with a short walk to a peivate dock. We visited in September. The lake was down substantially but there was sufficient water at the dock to use our boat. The house is located in a private rural area, but is proximate to several restaurants and grocery stores. There is a boat ramp that is only a couple of miles away. Highly recommended and we will stay again."

"The property itself is beautiful. The home is comfortable and is well maintained. The downstairs is an apartment almost to itself. It has a separate bedroom and bathroom a little refrigerator a game room a huge TV and the middle floor is beautiful. The main floor has a full kitchen, although you will have to take your own paper towels, cleaning supplies and spices, including salt and pepper.Other than the air fryer was dirty. I had to clean before I could use it and the outside grill was also dirty. It took me about 40 minutes to clean that.The upstairs has two separate bedrooms and its own bathroom, wonderful shower and laundry room although you will have to take your own soaps, including shampoos conditioners and laundry soap. There are two bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom has bunkbeds in it and sleeps four. the other bedroom has a nice big bed and there are TVs in all the bedrooms. Lots of space for everyone to have their own privacy. There is a really nice screened in porch off the living room downstairs and a balcony.The host was very responsive answered my questions and was very nice to talk to.There is no water in the lake, so there is no access to the lake from the property. Hartwell has lowered the amount of water in the lake, so the dock was sitting in the mud. And the rest of the lake was just grass.Other than having no lake access, I would definitely recommend this house. It’s a beautiful place to gather together with family and have a nice visit."

"We loved our stay! Our family had such a great time on this quiet cove. The dock was perfect for our pontoon boat. The cabin was very clean and inviting. Neighbors were great can’t say enough about the place. We will definitely book again!"

"We stayed July 1st-July 5th 2026. It was 18 of us, the house was perfect! Very accommodating in every way. The basement was perfect for our large gatherings every night! We were able to bring our boat! Kim was amazing answering questions and responding to our needs right away! We would 100% stay here again! Neighbors are super nice! Such a wonderful stay ❤️"
