"We had a wonderful weekend stay at Simantro half board. Easily accessible from Thessaloniki, beautiful authentic architecture and lush Green surroundings. Safe beach and stunning terrace looking over it. Very impressive buffet spread and super friendly staff. Had a massage at the spa from the lovely Georgia and bought souvenir gifts from the minimarket, made friends, relaxed and we even swam in the pool despite the cooler time of year. "Had the worst experience in staying in this hotel. My family and I booked a family sea view room. To our disappointment the sea was in front of us for sure, but there was a building in between! The room was the dirtiest room i have ever seen. Full of hair and dust. The towels and sheets were full of stains. AC was also very old and sounded a lot. After i turned it off it started leaking so much water i had to wipe it off the floor. The beds were some old rusty beds that were for sure at least...

"The hotel is lovely and the staff are truly so hard working, the breakfast and dinner crew work non stop and Nikos is amazing by the pool. For their sake though, we suggest that the uniform changes to shorts in this heat not black trousers! The only downfall here was the lack of hot or even tepid water at various times of the day and the continuous power cuts. Location is very close to Siviri beach - truly walking distance."
