"Perfect lake cabin for a relaxing family getaway. We loved the location and the setting. We were even greeted by deer and a chipmunk upon arrival. We truly enjoyed our time here and I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the bunkhouse as a reading escape for a whole day or two."

"The property was overall clean and in good order when we arrived. Absolutely loved the view and location! Very comfortable inside and the space on the deck was very nice and relaxing. The hosts were very helpful and communicated well, we had no issues finding the property. My only issue and what bothered me the entire time was the walk up to the cabin. My understanding was there were stairs up to the cabin and the listing did not have a disclaimer or say anything about the trail leading to the stairs. The trail is put together with rocks and old treated timbers which all are very slippery when wet. The climb up was not an issue for me or my boy but my father is not as stable as he used to be and it made him and myself very nervous going up or down the trail. It's 90% trail 10% stairs. Please be aware and perhaps some pictures would be helpful when deciding if this is the right property for you. I would not have picked this property had I known about the trail. The dock was awesome I can tell it was just put in and it had power run to it so it was very nice because we were out fishing all day and needed to charge the batteries. Overall experience was good and I would recommend it to someone looking to get away and enjoy Vermillion, just be aware of the walk up."

"This location was wonderful, beautiful views and very convenient to have landing and docking in private, quiet bay behind residence. Bugs were immense outside and needed to be fogged. Holly was available when needed and communicated well. Bedrooms had small beds, but comfortable and clean. Beach was great for kids and swimming. Hot tub on site was not working. Cabin is next door to property owner residence, cameras on property as well. Overall a good experience and would stay again! "

"We loved our stay here in Tower, MN! My grandpa actually built this house :) and so it was so cool to see all the work done on it. It has the coziest norther MN vibe with such a huge hard and easy, walkable access to downtown Tower, MN. Love the decor!The property was super clean and cute! Easy kitchen to make a bunch of meals in and enjoy together and nice set up for the living room to watch a movie in when it stormed. The basement was perfect for the family that came with kids with space for them to hang out early in the morning before everyone else got up. They also had little cute touches like temporary tattoos for the 4th! Easy parking for all our vehicles. The house is directly across the road from the Mesabi Trail to walk or bike ride on, too, which we enjoyed.Downtown Tower has cute bars, the best grocery store (hot bologna fresh on Thursdays! plus their own unique meats daily like potato or blueberry sausage), ice cream, and coffee shops - and the legendary Rick's Relics thrift store. McKinley Beach was a 5-minute drive away on Lake Vermillion for the hot days we had!Hope to stay again next year!! Thank you!"
