Large lakeside home with private dock and firepit!

"The home was exceptionally clean, and we all felt comfortable from our very first night. It is beautiful, well-maintained, and very functional for a large group. The bedrooms are thoughtfully located away from the main living area, which allowed those who wanted to sleep to do so without being disturbed by activity in the common spaces.However, we felt the location and lake access were not accurately represented in the listing. The home is quite close to the highway, so we had to be especially careful with our young children. Traffic noise, including cars and motorcycles, was noticeable throughout the day and even during our evening bonfires.We were also disappointed to discover prior to our arrival, that the lake does not have a public boat launch, which was not disclosed in the description. As a family that enjoys fishing, this was a significant drawback.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness, comfort, and layout of the home, but we believe the listing should provide a clearer description of the location and lake access so future guests know what to expect."

"This was a great place!! We had a great time with our group for 2 weeks. Adrian, the host is so responsive and answered all the questions we had. Eagle family playing around right above us every day! Very comfy place with plenty of room. A huge deck to hang out on each day, and night. So close to all the little towns around there, Woodruff, Arbor Vitae, St Germaine, etc.. Perfect location for a lot to do. Would definitely re-book for another stay."

"We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property. One suggestion would be to update the listing photos, as many appear to have been taken in the winter. The lake and surrounding area are absolutely spectacular during the warmer months and deserve to be showcased.The home is very well maintained and one of the best-stocked vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. There were plenty of towels, extra blankets, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also loved the dock area and appreciated having access to the kayaks and paddle boats. The only maintenance item we noticed was that some of the dock boards are weathered, cracked, and beginning to deteriorate from sun exposure.A few additional details in the listing would make arrival and the stay even smoother. More specific driving directions would be helpful, as our GPS took us on a few wrong turns, which was challenging while towing both a fishing boat and an enclosed UTV trailer. It would also be helpful to mention the bedroom layout (two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs), note that the dishwasher is powered by a kitchen light switch, and include information about the public boat launch located around the lake. It worked well for our fishing boat, though larger boats may find it a bit more difficult.Overall, this is a fantastic property with excellent amenities, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’d gladly stay here again."

"The staff was very pleasant and helpful, we had a issue with our car and was not able to leave by 11 00 and the staff was willing to leave us stay longer in the room until help arrived. Thank you. We would recommend this hotel."

"The property was very clean and updated. The beds were comfortable. We had our dog with us, and wished the yard had been mowed, which would have allowed him to used the space (ticks were our concern in the high grass.) overall, the property was just what we needed."

"The Chalet on Little Muskie Lake is everything we needed for a fun family getaway weekend. We had everything we needed from the kitchen utensils to the lake “toys”. We couldn’t have had a more perfect stay, even when we locked ourselves out and had wonderful help getting back in. We’d love to come back to enjoy the Chalet and the lake again!"
