"Unfortunately, our room was disappointing in terms of cleanliness and maintenance.. We noticed a stuffy, musty smell in the bathroom and closet. The area around the window had not been properly cleaned, and the wallpaper was peeling and discolored with brown marks."

"歴史のある、古風な雰囲気をただよわせていて、とても心地よかったです。スタッフさんも親切でした。"

"This is an historic and rustic natural hot spring hotel high in the woods very authentic. A hidden gem. The staff was super friendly and dinner and breakfast included incredible. The hot spring one hot and one warm great to spend lots of time- supper mmmmm. My favorite place this trip. Not new and fancy but relaxing and special"

"The staff are very friendly and helpful! The hotel is old fashioned and designed for tourists. The dinner was super delicious in a set of varieties. The breakfast was good too. My room was clean and warm, but need some maintenance or upgrades. Particularly my bedroom was little smelly and toilet seat wasn’t properly installed. We enjoyed their onsens."

Everything is new and clean, and the owners clearly take pride in this historic home. Even the tatami seams are artful. The staff was so friendly. I only speak a little Japanese, but they were patient and kind while I thought of the right words, and check-in was lovely. They also held my bag while I went...

"Easy check-in with English staff."
