"Hotel Samudra has a sea view room exactly like the picture but there were laundry sheets everywhere next to the lift on the first floor. No toilet roll and soap in the toilet.So average.But it's local to everything. Walking distance to the temple and the boat."

"We stayed for three days and really enjoyed our time here. The view was beautiful, especially watching the sunrise right from our room window. The location was excellent, close to the water and all the major attractions and activities. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, the laundry service was convenient, and the staff was warm and welcoming. We also really enjoyed the food, both breakfast and dinner were excellent. There were a couple of areas that could use improvement. The Wi-Fi was patchy and unreliable most times. More importantly, the front desk staff seemed to have very limited knowledge of local attractions, activities, transportation, and other useful information. Whenever we had questions, we often found it easier to look things up ourselves or ask people outside the hotel. It would have made a real difference if the staff could offer better local guidance and recommendations, especially for guests visiting the area for the first time. Overall, we had a lovely stay. The beautiful views, great location, comfortable rooms, and good food made it a very enjoyable experience. With more reliable Wi-Fi and better-informed front desk staff, this could be an even better place to stay."

"A clean, well-maintained, and family-friendly hotel. The staff were very polite and welcoming. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience for the family. The only drawback was the poor Wi-Fi connectivity, which could definitely be improved. Other than that, a great place to stay!"

"Chakra cottage had aesthetic interiors and very spacious even for a couple with small kids. Seeing sunrise in the lake from the portico was wonderful. Staff were really courteous and friendly. Spa was great too. Overall it was a lovely peaceful experience just an hour drive from Thiruvananthapuram. "
